About Taylor

Taylor Smith is an American artist from the Bay Area. Her love for art was nurtured by her grandmothers, both being teachers and artists.

Coming from a family where the pursuit of education was highly encouraged, she attended San Jose State University, receiving her BFA in Studio Arts in 2026. During her studies at SJSU, Smith joined a study abroad art program in Japan, where she learned various traditional Japanese arts, including shodō and Kintsugi. During her live-in stay with a Japanese family, she learned invaluable life lessons on cultures and relationships, learning that love and respect surpass language barriers.

Taylor’s skills include traditional art and illustrations, graphic design, branding, logos, merch, posters, and more. She has worked with teams such as Five Suns Brewing to create signature beer can labels and Le Pit Club to produce unique merchandise.
